We completed the cargo area fit-out of a Renault Master L3H2 for Fresh Garden, a company that specialises in selling fresh vegetables, fruit and food products with delivery to the customer.
Ceiling
We started with insulation - we used a 19 mm bituminous mat with an aluminium foil layer. We then fitted lightweight PP plastic as the finish. Finally, we installed two LED strips along the full length of the ceiling for even lighting. The insulation effectively reduces moisture condensation, which is especially important when transporting food products.
Side and door panels
We made them from double-sided laminated plywood, 6.5 mm thick. We used a waterproof material that is durable and easy to clean. We also protected the structural pillars.
Floor
We made the floor from 12 mm waterproof anti-slip hexa plywood. Using a single, full-size sheet ensures maximum stability and resistance to heavy use. We finished the floor with an aluminium floor trim.
Wheel arch covers and finishing details
The wheel arch covers are made from two types of plywood, 6.5 mm and 12 mm. The whole assembly is additionally protected with aluminium fittings. Elements that could not be covered with plywood were finished with high-quality technical felt. We installed a light switch in one of the pillars.
