Who is the data controller

The controller of personal data is AMGX System sp. z o.o., ul. Leopolda Staffa 67, 44-274 Rybnik, Poland, KRS 0001252597, NIP (tax ID) 6423271979, REGON 545189981 ("we"). For data protection matters, email kontakt@amgx.pl or call +48 606 608 608.

This policy covers the amgx.pl website. The fit-out configurator (konfigurator.amgx.pl) is a separate service with its own privacy policy (in Polish).

What data we process and why

  • Phone and email contact. The data you give us: name, company, phone number, email address, message content, information about your vehicle. We use it to reply, prepare a quote and fulfil the order. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering into a contract and its performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
  • Server logs. On every visit the server records the IP address, date and time, the page address and browser information. They are used to keep the website secure and to detect faults. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Page view counter. We count ourselves how many times each page is viewed and where visitors come from (e.g. Google or Facebook). We store only the day, the page address and the type of source - no IP address, no browser details, no cookies. Such totals cannot identify anyone, so they are not personal data and need no consent.
  • Visit statistics (Google Analytics) - only with your consent. When you click "Accept" in the consent box, Google Analytics collects information about your visit: a shortened IP address, an identifier stored in cookies, pages viewed, device type and approximate location. This tells us how many people visit the website and which projects they look at. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Without consent the Google script is not loaded at all. You can withdraw consent at any time on the cookie policy page ("Change cookie settings" button).
  • YouTube videos. The YouTube player loads only after you click a video. Until then your browser does not connect to YouTube. After the click, Google (YouTube) receives data in line with its own privacy policy; we use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
  • Google reviews. We show customer reviews from our Google business profile. They are downloaded by our server; your browser does not connect to Google for this. Author names come from their public reviews. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google Maps are ordinary links. Data reaches those services only when you click them.

The website has no forms, customer accounts or advertising pixels.

Who receives the data

  • IT and email service providers who help us run the website and mailboxes,
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics) - only with your consent,
  • accounting and law firms, when needed to handle an order,
  • public authorities, where required by law.

Google may also process data in the USA. The transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

How long we keep data

  • correspondence and enquiry data - as long as needed to reply and fulfil the order, then up to 3 years in case of claims; accounting documents for as long as tax law requires,
  • server logs - 90 days,
  • Google Analytics data - 14 months; Google Analytics cookies expire after 2 years, or earlier if you withdraw consent or delete them in your browser.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland).

Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to an enquiry or prepare a quote. We do not make automated decisions or use profiling.
