In this project we took over the repair and extension of the van fit-out on a Renault Master L3H2, previously done by another company. The vehicle serves as a mobile unit for visiting clients, so the fit-out had to be not only good-looking but above all safe in daily use.
Repair and upgrade of the existing fit-out (before photos)
Safe Webasto heating and air installation
We removed the incorrectly routed warm air ducting. The Webasto unit, located between the seats and exposed to mechanical damage, was protected with an enclosure made of plywood and ABS plastic, in which we fitted a new air diffuser.
Electrical installation and inverter mounting
The inverter mounted in the seat base had no protection at all. We rebuilt its mounting, made a dedicated installation with fuse protection and fitted a convenient switch on the dashboard. We equipped the inverter housing with SIMON 230 V sockets with protective covers.
Fridge enclosure and power connection
Above the Webasto heater enclosure we built a stable waterproof plywood shelf sized for mounting a fridge, together with a complete power connection.
Functional catering area
In the rear of the vehicle we designed and built a spacious upholstered shelf of approx. 2 m², made of 12 mm plywood and sized to fit the catering containers. The area is lit by an LED profile with a switch.
All plywood parts were machined on our own CNC machine and finished with durable ABS plastic and technical felt. To keep the look clean, we designed and 3D-printed dedicated covers for the seat belt mounting elements.
The result - safety and reliability
Attention to detail in the electrical installation and heating system is crucial for safety. The Renault Master is now ready for comfortable, safe and reliable trips.
