Bambini Racing with a new van fit-out

A van fit-out for the Iveco Daily, prepared for the Bambini Racing Sports Club. This is another project where functionality mattered as much as appearance and maximum usability for a sports team working in the field. Before the fit-out was installed, the entire vehicle was covered with thermal insulation, which significantly improved comfort in a variety of weather conditions.

A fit-out tailored to the needs of athletes

The entire interior is made of durable, weather-resistant materials. We covered the side panels, rear doors and side partitions with 6.5 mm waterproof plywood, laminated on both sides and protected with a phenolic film. The floor is solid 12 mm waterproof anti-slip hexa plywood, additionally covered with aluminium sheet and fitted with recessed floor cups. We extended the floor area by building over the sill, creating a uniform, level surface.

Cargo organisation and safety systems

The vehicle is fitted with a full system of aluminium Airline rails, placed on the side walls and the bulkhead. It allows quick and safe load securing for cargo and sports equipment, as well as easy repositioning. The interior is further enhanced with clothing hooks, cargo handles, and numerous storage compartments and enclosures made of laminated plywood with aluminium angle brackets.

Electrical system and additional equipment

In the rear of the vehicle we installed two external 230V CEE sockets with covers (left + right side), as well as two cigarette lighter sockets - one in the sleeping area and the other in the rear pillar. The vehicle is also equipped with a magnetic 360° LED searchlight, powered from the lighter socket.

GEMA shelving units - Italian quality and professionalism

The centrepiece of the fit-out is the shelving units from the Italian brand GEMA, known for producing top-quality modular systems for commercial vehicles. Made of anodised aluminium and composites, these units combine light weight with durability. Their design allows flexible adaptation to the user's individual needs.

GEMA shelving units are equipped with:

• drawers with a load capacity of up to 90 kg, which extend fully for easy access to the contents,

• shelves with a load capacity of up to 120 kg, with height adjustment in 2.5 cm steps,

• movable dividers, allowing the space to be organised as required,

• a work surface, providing room for service work in the field.

Thanks to top-quality materials, GEMA shelving units are resistant to mechanical damage and corrosion, and their modular design makes it easy to modify and expand the system in the future.

Well-thought-out solutions on the road and at rest

The fit-out also included an upholstered 70 cm wide bed with insulation, a mattress and lighting, in both the sleeping and working areas. There is no shortage of practical organisers, and we also built in and installed a compressor with a full set of pneumatic accessories and a hose.

Ergonomics and professionalism

It is worth highlighting the attention to detail and everyday comfort of use. We installed special stainless steel rods for storing long and wide items. Every element has been designed with user convenience in mind - from safe transport and tool organisation to functionality in any working conditions.
