Insulation, premium plywood and Airline rails
The first stage of the project was insulating the side walls and ceiling of the Ford Transit Crew Cab L3H2. We used a rubber mat with an aluminium foil layer, which provides both thermal and acoustic insulation.
We covered the side panels with double-sided laminated, waterproof plywood, 6.5 mm thick and easy to clean. The ceiling is made of lightweight PP plastic.
On the side walls we installed black Airline load securing rails, which allow transported items to be secured quickly and safely. The Airline system is valued in the transport industry for its versatility, durability and configurability.
We fitted 3D-printed grilles (FDM/FFF technology) with our logo over the ventilation openings.
Evaporator housing
The key element is a specially designed housing for the Austral Performa evaporator, integrated with the vehicle's air conditioning. The housing was made to order from 12 mm waterproof plywood.
The housing design was precisely matched to the evaporator's dimensions, so that:
the unit is perfectly seated and protected,
proper airflow is ensured,
the cargo area keeps its neat look and ergonomics.
* The floor and wheel arch covers were not made by AMGX System.
