Peugeot Expert Long with Drawer System

Custom design

The Peugeot Expert Long was fitted with a complete van fit-out built to the custom design of our client, Zakład Usług Elektrycznych Łukasz Widrowski, who came to us from the Pomerania region. The key element of this project is the drawer system, which provides excellent organisation of the cargo area and convenient access to tools and electrical equipment.

Drawer system

The main advantage of this fit-out is its pull-out drawers, mounted on durable anti-slip HEXA plywood and placed under the floor. Thanks to high-quality ball-bearing slides with a lock-in/lock-out function from the renowned German manufacturer JUNKER Slides, each drawer extends a full 1.5 metres, giving complete and convenient access to everything inside.

JUNKER slides guarantee top quality and reliability:

• Material: galvanised, corrosion-resistant steel

• Balls: hardened steel - smooth and durable movement

• Lock-in function: the drawer latches automatically when pushed in

• Lock-out function: the drawer extends with a short press of the lever

• Easy rail separation: the inner rail can be detached from the outer rail with a lever

The whole structure is designed for extreme durability - a single drawer has a load capacity of as much as 200 kg.

Durable materials

Both the base and the drawers are made of waterproof HEXA plywood, a material known for its high moisture resistance, easy cleaning and great durability. Above the drawers is a solid floor made of the same material, finished with aluminium angle profiles.

Solid walls and shelf

We made the side panels from 6.5 mm plywood laminated on both sides, which provides scratch resistance and also makes it easier to keep the vehicle's cargo area clean. An additional feature is a practical shelf by the bulkhead, designed specifically for the client. It allows convenient storage of boxes with new equipment, such as cameras and other electronic devices.

Additional conveniences

• We used the space between the drawers and the wheel arch covers to create two additional compartments sized for tool cases, allowing even better organisation of equipment.
• One of the drawers also has a special opening that gives access to the spare wheel. This lets the user reach the wheel easily when needed, without having to dismantle the whole fit-out.
