Mercedes Vito for Dog Transport

A top-tier van fit-out

This Mercedes Vito van fit-out for dog transport is an ideal solution for people who often travel with their four-legged companions. Thanks to high-quality materials, every detail of the fit-out has been designed with the comfort and safety of the dogs in mind, as well as ease of use.

Thermal insulation and durable materials

Before the fit-out was installed, the entire space was covered with thermal insulation, which keeps the temperature comfortable during the journey regardless of outside conditions. The floor, made of 12 mm anti-slip hexa plywood, is waterproof and easy to clean. The side panels are made of 6.5 mm laminated plywood, which is also water-resistant and easy to keep clean.

Comfort and safety for dogs

The ceiling, made of PVC, is easy to clean, waterproof and neatly finished with a seal, which improves the durability of the fit-out. The floor is covered with a perfectly fitted mat, which makes the journey more comfortable for the dogs. We milled recesses for bowls, which can be easily removed using wing knobs.

We also designed a ventilation system that channels air through a stainless steel tunnel from the passenger area to the cargo area, giving the dogs an optimal temperature and comfort on the road. This ensures comfortable conditions for the dogs throughout the whole journey.

Details that make the difference

• The safety of the dogs is a priority, so we protected the pillars with 6.5 mm plywood and an aluminium angle, which prevents the dogs from chewing on cables.
• In addition, straps with carabiners allow the dogs to be clipped in securely and conveniently.
• In the passenger area, the bulkhead has additional upholstery, which not only improves the look but also provides better insulation.

Thanks to such a well-thought-out fit-out, travelling with dogs becomes more comfortable, safer and easier to organise. The Mercedes Vito, converted into a spacious, functional dog transport space, is an excellent choice for anyone who values the comfort of both themselves and their four-legged friends.
