Professional van fit-out for SKAR-IO

For SKAR-IO, we prepared a special-purpose fit-out for a Mercedes Sprinter L3H2. The project was designed with functionality and durability in mind, and to make the most of the available cargo space.

Full insulation for optimal protection

To give the transported cargo the best possible protection, we insulated the entire interior of the vehicle. The insulation covers the floor, doors and ceiling, which improves comfort of use and protects the cargo from external conditions.

Durable HEXA plywood

The floor is made of 12 mm anti-slip hexa plywood, known for its outstanding abrasion resistance and easy cleaning. It is 12 mm thick and waterproof. This type of floor ensures safety during loading and unloading, and effectively protects the cargo area from mechanical damage.

Side and door panels

For exceptional durability and sturdiness, all side walls, the bulkhead and the doors are covered on both sides with 6.5 mm laminated plywood. This solution offers outstanding resistance to moisture and scratches and makes cleaning easier, which is essential in intensively used vehicles.

Load securing system - Airline rails and transport accessories

The fit-out features an extensive Airline rail load securing system:

• 2 rails on each side wall,
• 2 rails on the bulkhead,
• 7 rails on the ceiling,
• 2 rails on the floor.

The rails are fitted with auto-retracting straps, securing brackets and specialist holders. In addition, we installed 4 WISTRA Airline-Beam load bars, which allow go-karts to be transported safely. The bars have a dedicated storage spot - a ceiling holder - so they do not get in the way while driving when not in use.

LED lighting

The entire length of the vehicle is equipped with an LED lighting system. A switch makes it easy to turn on and off, providing comfortable working conditions.

Door nets

To make the vehicle even more practical, we mounted two transport nets on the rear doors. They allow convenient storage of smaller items, such as spray cans.

Engravings

The fit-out is also fitted with custom engravings that underline the professionalism and unique character of the project.
