Mercedes Citan L2H1 with a Durable Waterproof Plywood Fit-Out

We started by installing rubber mat insulation with aluminium foil, which improves thermal and acoustic insulation.

The floor is made of 12 mm HEXA plywood. This material is waterproof, durable and anti-slip, withstands intensive use and is easy to keep clean.

The side panels are made of 6.5 mm waterproof plywood laminated on both sides and bonded with resin. The material is highly durable and resistant to mechanical damage.

The wheel arch covers combine HEXA plywood and laminated plywood, with their edges protected by aluminium fittings. Above the left wheel arch cover we made an inspection opening that gives convenient access to the electrical wiring prepared for a future tow bar installation.

The ceiling is protected with light and durable PP plastic panels. The bulkhead is made of 6.5 mm laminated plywood, joined with an aluminium strip. At the bottom we used a HEXA plywood plinth, which effectively protects the partition from damage during loading and transport.

Elements that could not be covered with plywood were finished with high-grade technical felt in grey, giving the whole fit-out a neat and consistent look.
