We completed a full cargo area fit-out of a Mercedes Citan L2H1 used for daily deliveries for the DAN-BOL bakery in Rzgów. The entire cargo area is covered with 19 mm aluminium-faced rubber foam, which provides thermal and acoustic insulation.
Side and door panels
We made the side and door panels from 6.5 mm waterproof plywood, laminated on both sides. The material is:
moisture-resistant,
easy to clean,
built for intensive use in the food industry.
Wheel arch covers and protection
The wheel arch covers are made of premium plywood in 6.5 mm and 12 mm thicknesses, with their edges protected by aluminium trims.
Ceiling and protruding elements
The ceiling is protected with PP plastic, which is moisture-resistant and easy to clean. All protruding structural elements are additionally covered with technical felt.
Floor and entry step
The floor is made of 12 mm anti-slip hexa plywood, which is abrasion-resistant and very easy to keep clean. We also built in a step at the side door. Between the wheel arch covers we achieved a width of 123 cm, which allows bakery baskets to be arranged freely.
