Franciszek Szczyrba, a speedway rider from Rybnik, used our services for the fit-out of his Ford Transit. The project was carried out in cooperation with his father, Marek, who did a huge amount of the work himself. He built the bed (aluminium profiles + plywood) and the upholstery, and completed the full vehicle insulation on his own.

On our side, we helped prepare the fit-out, cut the plywood elements and installed them in the vehicle. The result is a functional, well-fitted interior created specifically for the needs of motorsport.

Cost-effective van fit-out for a speedway rider

Our task was to prepare a van fit-out that would effectively protect the transported equipment and also serve as a service vehicle.

Wheel arch covers

The wheel arch covers were protected with plywood, and their upper part was fitted with practical shelves for storing equipment. We also engraved the rider's number.

Insulation, surface protection and practical solutions

All the insulation work was done by Marek using our materials. The interior was insulated with a bitumen mat with an aluminium foil layer and then finished with technical felt. To store the rubber mat, a PVC pipe covered with technical felt was used, which is an economical solution. On our side, we protected the doors with 6.5 mm plywood, which we also covered with technical felt.

Floor and load securing system

The floor was reinforced with 15 mm plywood. On top of it we installed 12 mm anti-slip hexa plywood in black - a waterproof, abrasion-resistant material that is easy to clean. We fitted two Airline rails in the floor. One of them also secures the rubber mat that protects the bumper,

Crew cab area

For the crew cab area, we cut the top of a folding table from 12 mm waterproof anti-slip hexa plywood. It has two cup holders fitted with stainless steel bowls.

Loading ramp

The fit-out is prepared for installing our loading ramps.

After the upgrade, the Ford Transit is a fully functional service vehicle.
