Ford Transit for Brand-Poż - professional workshop van fit-out compatible with the Milwaukee PACKOUT system

Complete insulation and floor preparation

We started by removing the factory fit-out of the Ford Transit, because it did not serve its purpose - the floor was unsuitable for mounting shelving units and the side panels did not protect the body.

We finished the interior with 6.5 mm double-sided laminated plywood. The floor is made of 12 mm anti-slip HEXA plywood and built up with 20 mm plywood, which levelled the floor surface and allowed us to integrate the rails for mounting passenger seats. In addition, we cut openings in the base plywood to reduce the weight of the fit-out.

Comfortable and practical passenger area

In the passenger area we made full upholstery and access hatches with vertical opening and a locking mechanism - they make it possible to transport long items. We also equipped the passenger area with a shelf set into a recess between the window and the inner wall of the vehicle.

Workshop van fit-out with full equipment

In the cargo area we built a shelving unit made of aluminium profiles, 20 mm plywood and 6.5 mm double-sided laminated plywood. The shelving unit is fitted with Keeper containers, as well as a workbench with a vise and LED lighting directly above it. In the lower part we also provided dedicated spaces for the modular storage systems PACKOUT Milwaukee. Together they create an ergonomic and durable workspace.

Bulkhead

We built a new bulkhead from aluminium profiles. It is soundproofed and insulated, then clad with double-sided laminated plywood - and upholstered on the passenger side. It replaced the factory bulkhead, which took up much more space, so the new version gave us additional working space.

Ramp and XTra wheel arch cover

We designed the ramp for quick installation and removal, and thanks to the wing knobs it takes only a moment to handle. In the XTra wheel arch cover we made a dedicated space for storing the ramp, and above it we built an enclosure for the access opening, ensuring easy access to it.

Airline rail system and electrical installation

The entire fit-out is equipped with Airline rails with auto-retracting straps and load securing fittings. The rails are placed on the side walls, the aluminium shelving unit and the ceiling.
In the ceiling we added LED strips for even lighting. We also added two LED work lights. The vehicle is also equipped with an electrical panel with a 12V socket, two 5V USB ports and a voltmeter - ideal for powering power tools and mobile devices.
