Effective insulation and soundproofing of the bulkhead

How we do it in practice

Bulkhead insulation is a key stage in finishing the vehicle interior. Our service includes professional thermal and acoustic insulation using high-quality materials that effectively reduce noise, retain heat and improve thermal comfort inside the vehicle.

For insulation we use a rubber mat or a butyl mat.

• Rubber mat with aluminium foil
  An advanced, five-layer insulation mat for automotive applications. The aluminium layer effectively reflects heat, and the material itself is resistant to water, oils and chemicals.
  
  
• Butyl mat with aluminium foil (Alubutyl)
  A self-adhesive soundproofing mat that reduces vibration and noise in vehicles. The butyl layer dampens vibration extremely well, while the aluminium surface adds rigidity and protects against heat.

Every detail counts

So that the result looks as good as it works, the next layer is premium-grade technical felt. This self-adhesive material is made of soft polyester fibre. It not only gives the surface a neat finish, but also adds a layer of sound dampening. The felt is dense and pleasant to the touch, and thanks to its strong adhesive it bonds well to smooth surfaces.

If the bulkhead has an inspection window, we also take care of finishing it properly - we protect the frame with a special seal, which gives it a clean look and prevents loose edges around the window.

What is more, all the materials we use adapt to different shapes and forms of bulkheads - so even the most unusual fit-outs can be insulated effectively and neatly.
